Full of info, basic on looks

TripAdvisor does what you’d expect: advising you on what to do when you’re taking a trip. Simple really, but it really is packed with information.
Using the application we managed to see which was the best ranked restaurant near our house, and also learned that taking a Segway ride is the best way to see Barcelona (it really, really is).
Flight booking info is easy to find, and while the range of hotels in certain locations was a little hard to sort through at times, we still found an excellent selection.
The only problem we had was the distance filter: putting in ‘5 miles from location’ still showed results from 40 miles away.
The interface is also a little dull, and looks like an app developed for Windows Mobile or some other archaic OS – but it’s not a deal breaker, so if you want info on what do around you, check this out.
