Don't worry, you can't really hurt the little guy

Physics-based games sound as boring as Xtreme Crochet, but in reality they’ve been the mainstay of computing since the Commodore 64 days.
And they’re enjoying a renaissance on the mobile phone, and this little gem is one of the better ones, in that it’s ridiculously hard but still compelling enough to keep you coming back again and again.
The principle is a little Angry Birds-like, in that you progress through the levels trying to knock out bad guys and are scored on the amount of attempts it takes you out of three.
The idea is to control a little skier down a mountain, and modify his weight balance through the air to get the maximum speed to knock out standing robots.
However in later levels you need to knock out more than one at a time to get a perfect score, and by the Hammer of Thor it’s difficult at times.
The game is both frustrating and addictive in equal measure – it’s a little simplistic and could do with a little more pizzazz about it, but for 79p and the promise of a new level every week, it’s definitely worth checking out.
