Goshdarn hard but a cracking game to pass the time
by on August 28, 2011
We’re big fans of applications that try something different, and this game manages just that.
You’re a cell trying to get bigger by eating other cells. Get bigger than your rivals and you can absorb them, get to small by expending energy propelling yourself around the screen and you’ll be munched.
There’s not a lot more to it than that – while the controls are very fiddly, master them and you’ll be justly rewarded. And it’s not just the later levels that are tricky – the game starts off leagues harder than the average phone game fare.
There are a number of different physics-based options on offer and many levels to play for each. It does get a little repetitive at times, and frustrating too, but that’s part of the charm in our opinion.
We wish there were Achievements on offer, but then again we know this would hike up the price massively, so we’re happy with the set-up as it stands.
A fun game to play and well worth punting 79p at to pass the time.
