Chickens can Dream
One of the best free games on Windows Phone
Chickens can Dream Review

It’s nigh-on impossible to tell you how this game works without it sounding a little preposterous, so imagine you’re on a desert island, with white sand, crystal water and a free bar. Good… relaxed? Then we’ll begin.
Basically, you’re a chicken freefalling through the sky trying to grab corn as you fly past and trying not to be chopped up by saws and rotor blades.
You can get various power-ups along the way, and the chicken will naturally speed up the longer you go through. Slow him down by tapping the screen, but this will reduce stamina, making it a difficult balance to manage.
It’s a pretty difficult game to even get averagely decent at, with the amount of things to work out at once too much to take in – holding powerups, score multipliers and unexplained weapons making it very hard to work out what’s going on.
But for a free game it’s ace – and the likes of ghost chickens from your previous efforts are a really nice touch indeed, giving it a lot more polish than a lot of Xbox Live games we’ve paid through the nose (or beak) for.
We advise you mess around on the main menu screen too, as there are a lot of interactive elements to play with – it’s no Golden Egg hunt, but a must-have for all Windows Phone 7 handsets.
