If you’ve ever looked at your mates and wondered what it would look like if they were covered in cling film then run through a 3D studio, then have we got the app for you.
Morfo is one of those applications that seriously will scare those around you to their very souls – as it takes a normal photo of your friend and renders them as a 3D moving model.
Once the snap is taken, you get to adjust the head size, eye, nose and lip placement, then alter the chin dimensions too – all through multi-touch to get the desired shape.
Then the magic happens – the face is transformed into a cartoon-like 3D version, which you can make speak recorded words, dance around like a rocking loon or add make up to.
You can then save the pictures for future hilarity, or return to the face to mess around with it further.
It’s slightly odd that the default voice is that of a 13-year-old girl getting excited by a fairy… but if you’re trying to freak out your mate at the pub, we guess this adds to the mystique.
An odd application, but one that’s fabulous for loners who managed to sneak a picture of the girl they’re infatuated with at the office – now you can make her confirm her love for you every day.
