It’s rubbish, and not even what you think it is

Sometimes we get confused about apps – how did stuff like this make it onto Windows Marketplace? It doesn’t do anything dodgy, but then again, it doesn’t do anything.
Firstly, it’s not the BBC iPlayer. It’s someone trying to get downloads based on the same name. It’s a ‘skin’ that looks like an iPod classic, complete with scrollwheel, and the chance to look through songs and albums.
However, none of it works. The scrollwheel takes a lot of finesse to use, opening songs or albums crashes the app and the overall UI is so darned slow you’ll lament ever opening it in the first place.
Avoid. This is not iPlayer. This is not even worth downloading. In fact, warn your friends too.
