Bro Code Review
by on July 16, 2012
Before we start, if you’re a fan of the TV Show How I Met Your Mother then you’ll find a greater level of hilarity from the app.
It’s basically a massive extension of the ‘Bro Code’ formulated by one of the more misogynistic characters from the show to highlight how his men friends should act, but this developer has taken it to a much greater degree.
While the TV show offers a few code snippets, this app takes you back in time over the history of the Bro, what it means to be a Bro to a fellow Bro and uses of the Brocabulary (Bro vocabulary) in every day life.
There’s also 150 Bro Code items to live by, which are mostly pretty funny, although some do smack of trying just a little bit too hard.
It’s an app that is very well thought-out, nicely put together and contains a lot of information – but given it’s a stolen idea essentially and won’t be used much again, we can’t help think it should be ad-funded rather than cost money.
