Online radio at its simplest
We’re fans of the internet as you might have guessed, and internet radio, with a veritable cornucopia of stations, is one of the best bits.
TuneIn Radio makes the most of this technology, bringing you a plethora of stations to choose from, a variety of stream quality to choose from (with reliability ratings before you connect) and track information where listed.
Simple bookmarking makes it easy to reconnect to your favourite stations, and the speed at which it buffers is mesmerising.
Twitter feeds get their own pane for each station, and if you decide to send in a message it updates in seconds, which is pretty cool. Similar station recommendations offer a really easy way to find the music you like and track listings make it easy to search and find the music you want to listen to.
In short, the only thing we’d like to see is the ability to record, as you can on the paid for iPhone version, but for a free offering this is just tops.
