A great idea let down by poor execution
Today History Review

It’s always a shame when an application should be pretty decent but then slaps you in the face with the wet fish of intolerable rubbishness.
That’s what Today History does – an app that tells you if any given date is important to some culture in the world should be ace, but this really isn’t.
The information is from Wikipedia (which should be a worry in itself) but there’s no link to see more about a given day… where is No Socks Day celebrated? When did Hug an Australian Day begin? Is it practiced in the UK?
Add to that the terrible overlay, misspelled words on days when there is no special event happening (plus only two default notices for such) and the fact you can’t choose a specific date to check out make this a poor effort.
This could be so much better – if the developers put some work in, it would go from an F to a B+ in our grading system.
