We love talking about the weather but that’s because it’s free, we can look outside and bang, there’s a half-hour conversation right there about whether that proto-cumulonimbus is going to start precipitating in time for luncheon or not. If you need a near £7 to help you out then good for you.
As it happens this is one well presented and thourough weather app. It’s comprehensive, offering multiple selection of units for temperature, pressure and speed. Along with a very wide selection of world cities and town that you can add-in as your favourites.
It’ll present a three-day and ten-day forecast with graphs and icons to present the weather. There’s also a written summary for the next two days and details include moon and sun set and rise, humidity, UV, wind speed and precipitation chances.
It can try and add itself to your Homepage, though this won’t work on the HTC Touchflou. When it does there’s a ribbon of icons presenting the forecast. There’s also an interesting weather clock, showing the changing weather over the day. Its big flaw is really its visuals, the skins are mostly a joke and the icons though functional and animated need work.
