A paid for app based RSS reader designed to work with Google’s free RSS Readerd service.
RSS feeds are a superb straight forward way of consuming vast amounts of news from multiple sources and this app makes that even easier, letting you sign into your Google account and voila all of your saved RSS feeds suddenly appear before you. It’s still easy to become overloaded but it saves you jumping between web sites, navigating your way through a myriad of site designs to locate the content you want.
While this doesn’t try to mimic the Google Reader website, which is good thing, it does offer identical organisation. The system is fast to use, so you can quickly scroll through hundreds of news items. It’s awkward but if you want to you can also add your own feeds and search in the current section for keywords.
The clunkyness of the interface is an issue, but as with all paid-for RSS apps the real question is whether it’s better than your existing free app one? In this case the honest answer is no, save your money.
