Calculator that claims to be revolutionary by letting you store and amend past number crunches.
Plenty of people in business have to work with guestimated figures, so the SFR Calculator app has tried to create a tool that works with that weakness rather than force against it.
The trick of this calculator – and in a way its main downfall – is that it retains all of your calculations. This means you can go back at any point and amend them. So if you want to order 100 widgets at around £4.99 plus 15% VAT, later you can go back and adjust any of that, just like a spreadsheet.
But there’s a big problem here. If you only want the basic mathematical functions with a simple interface then this will do for you, but it doesn’t provide anything beyond plus, minus, times, divide and power.
There’s not even any decent management of previously made equations beyond the standard file manager. There are email options to send equations to yourself as text files and you can add text comments, but no sign of any greater scientific functions.
