The promise of streaming radio, webcams and TV all from a single app, but is this an endless entertainment dream come true?
Streams-T Review
by on March 13, 2010
Once installed Streams-T seems to be built in an easy to use and clear manner. Offering hundreds of radio and TV stations from all over the globe it’s boasts an impressive amount of choice and makes it relatively easy to navigate the myriad content options. Find a local station you like and add it to your favourites for fast access at a later date.
The problem is Streams-T is effectively just a happy front-end to a stream database stored at www.todaypda.com. This isn’t an issue in itself, it’s just taking the work of someone else and reusing it.
The problem is it then offloads playing any audio and data onto Windows Media Player. It’s not particularly big or clever and you could do all of this, admittedly not as slickly, via the browser. If this news doesn’t trouble you then the app works well enough.
