The rarest of beasts, a good looking Windows app that does a good job!
How we pine for apps that don’t make our eyes feel they’re being clawed at by razor wire. MsgCleaner is at least one Windows Mobile app that manages to get that right. With its slick looking icons and wide finger-sized menus it’s at least easy to use and attractive on the eyes. Its aim in life is to keep your messages under control. It’ll do this in a number of ways that can be fully or semi-automatically done, as well as offering manual options.
To start you can protect messages, marking contacts, individual messages and folders as protected. Beyond this the only criteria for deletion is a time period that starts as shorts a minute and maxes out at seven days. Similarly the cleaning period can be set to run, again from every few minutes up to every seven days. It would have been best for these limits to be far more flexible plus offer more ways to trigger the deletion process, such as a maximum number of messages. It’s certainly not bad a bad app, it just lacks some refinements at this time.
