If you ever drive in London, this is the most essential app you could probably download. It gives a quick view of the London traffic situation so you can feel much better prepared when driving in and out – hopefully avoiding London’s legendary snarl-ups. The app uses the feed from more than 175 Transport for London traffic cameras so you can always keep an eye on what is happening on your commute. Indeed, the app helps you spot problems along your favourite routes by viewing traffic camera images from the areaalong your favourite routes. If a camera is not working, try one nearby – it could be being maintained. You can also view traffic camera images around you by location using your phone’s in-built GPS and you can tap any camera location displayed on a map to view the image. The map also remembers where you are for next time you open the map, as well as the level of zoom you are at. The app will work fine over 3G and better, still, there are also no annoying ads in your face. A must-have app for London drivers.
