4A great weather app for Bada
Weather Bug Review
by on August 14, 2010
WeatherBug has a good pedigree elsewhere, but what about this Bada app?
Well first impressions aren’t great. The opening screen simply says ‘no locations’ if you’ve not yet specified anything and compared to several other weather apps this is pretty unwelcoming – why not use the GPS to give basic weather for your present location?
WeatherBug is designed to be a simple at-a-glance representation of the weather though and it succeeds – the main screen (once you’ve chosen a location) gives you the basics including temperature and wind information, while you can use the menu to explore the forecast as well as a layered weather map for your region.
If available, you can also see a close-by webcam shot while you’re also able to add more locations to your listing. It’s not the most exciting app to look at, but it sure packs in the information. You can also change the units used, too.

Ragdoll Blaster 3
The iOS equivalent of a plain cheese sandwich: does the job, but it won't linger in the memory afterwards.

Puckerz
One for those with a careless bent, and perfect for when you want to play a game but not do any thinking.
iPad
Pulse: Volume One
Stylish, absorbing and challenging, but needs Game Center support and an injection of longevity and jolly.

Procreate
Some hugely impressive tools and an interface ideal for artists make this a great painting app.
iPhone
Print n share
Difficult to set up, but once you’ve got it working, it offers a great range of print options.
iPad
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within HD
Control issues aside, Warrior Within really is a magnificent sequel.

pxl.
The interface feels a bit out of place on iOS, but it’s a fun app, and produces interesting results.
Puzzlejuice
Absurdly challenging, sometimes brutal, but frequently brilliant (especially on the iPad); just be aware of what you’re letting yourself in for. (Sob.)
