This app enables you to listen to radio stations from across the globe using a global directory of radio stations – RadioTime. You can listen over Wi-Fi or 3G but, if you use the latter, you’ll need to be aware that it really does eat your data and uses 100MB of your allowance for every hour listened.
The app categories stations and you can search for them too so they are relatively simple to find. You can also browse by language or IP, too, while you can also save your preferred stations as ‘presets’. The only downer is a local radio station option – it’s supposed to work by IP but just doesn’t work. Despite being in Reading, we were shown stations from Rio de Janeiro and various other South American stations.
For each country you can see the most popular stations though, so it’s really not that hard to find something suitable. A really good radio app for Bada – though we’re really not keen on the local features!
