Check out details on recent film releases
Universal Film News Review

Universal Film News shows you information on a variety of new release movies. Disappointingly though, several of them are not new releases and are actually several months old.
So, for example, Green Zone from March is shown alongside more recent releases – it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense and can hardly be called a ‘news’ app as a consequence.
The app is, however, good-looking, showing you the posters of each movie which you then click on to see more information about the film (swipe right to left to see more posters). But, again, it’s not news.
You’re given information you could easily have got from Wikipedia or IMDB – information such as the synopsis, director, genre, cast and so on. All the films featured in the app were already out (it updates the list when you start up) and we’d have certainly wanted to see information about movies that will be coming out over the next few months, for example.
We also had some problems with our handset moaning about the resources the app was using too. Not altogether impressive.
