Enjoy the latest National Geographic imagery
Natgeo Photos Review
by on August 21, 2010
There’s not a great deal to this app, but if you live in a city you might find it a good break from the daily commute – it enables you to see the latest images from the National Geographic library.
We wish it would show you the images a little bigger though – the app is only available in portrait mode, so the images are somewhat diminutive. There image page also carries also a bit of text about each picture, while you can also text or email the page to a friend.
Oh, and we know it’s a problem with the Symbian OS itself rather than this app, but we do wish these apps would stop asking us at EVERY SINGLE STAGE whether it’s OK to connect to the internet – we could understand it if it happened only when we were using 3G data, but when we’re on a Wi-Fi network it seems ridiculous and is a complete waste of time.
Dear Nokia, we do not need to give you permission, this is 2010.
