Socially aims to make social networking (Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn) more ‘natural’…
by on March 17, 2010
Designed to make a more natural experience out of using social networks on your phone, Socially enables you to access all your social networks in a single location and you can update your status quickly and easily with Socially.
However, the app does seem a bit much unless you’re regularly using two services such as Facebook and Twitter. It does more than those two services though, also enabling you to interact with your business contacts via LinkedIn.
The app works via a tabbed system, so you can see each of the individual networks in separate tabs, while a newsfeed tab also keeps you up-to-date with all the happenings across your entire list of social networks.
Since Nokia apps can run in the background, you can also start Socially when your phone does as well as always having it to hand. The app will also automatically refresh while your phone is connected to the network, while we also liked the inclusion of an option to turn off that auto-refresh feature while you’re roaming.
The app also has some tricks up its sleeve – the latest activities on your social networks are automatically displayed on your phone desktop. Clever stuff.
