Flirt. If you can get that far
by on February 24, 2011
Before we tell you why you shouldn’t bother downloading this absolutely pointless app, we’ll at least give you a quick preamble of what Flirtomatic actually is.
Essentially Flirtomatic is a dating site without the dating – you can browse through various ‘flirts’ and find people near you. The service is free to use initially, including any chats, searching for people (presumably) to flirt with as well as looking at photos, rating people and more. But if you want to use any of the Premium services such as promoting yourself to the awfully-named “look at me” wall or sending a Flirtbomb…well, you’ll need to pay.
The service itself isn’t terrible in terms of functionality – indeed it’s been well designed for mobile use and, although you’ll spend more than the promised 20 seconds setting up an account, it’s not all bad. There’s also an 0845 phone number on every screen should you want to give them a call.
But the app itself is simply a web link – there’s nothing to be gained by making the effort to download this app and you might as well just visit the Flirtomatic service through your browse. Or just go out and meet some real people instead?
