This tiny 60k app enables you to watch CNN International video clips on your Nokia handset.
You can stay up to date, wherever you are in the world by access CNN’s most popular videos, as well as the latest in world, business and sports news.
The app works in a tabbed-style, with World News, Most Popular, Business, and World Sport the categories shown. Videos show natively in the app and are of pretty decent quality although they did seem a little squashed when we put our Nokia X6 in landscape format. You can, however, move forward and back through the video when it plays.
The one downer of the app is the text size used in the menus – it truly is tiny and we could barely read the titles and posted dates of the videos on the CNN Video app’s home screen. Seriously, anybody with anything but the best eyesight will find it hard to navigate this.
The app doesn’t do much more than function as a basic video player but what it does do, it does very well. CNN Video is definitely one for our recommended pile, especially if you’re interested in World News.
