Keep tabs on your running, cycling, walking and more with this GPS sports app
Sports Tracker Review
by on May 5, 2010
This is one of those apps you can’t quite believe is free. It’s a fully-featured sports computer which uses the GPS in your Nokia to keep track of how far you’ve run, cycled, walked or skied and works out the details you need to know – such as calories burned or your average speed.
The app features a training diary, so you can keep track of your progress. As well as giving you access to your diary, you can see the results of your last workout on the homepage, so you can check out what you need to match up to next time.
After you’ve completed your exercise, the app also gives you a full report on your workout including a map showing you the distance covered.
We really like this app, largely because there’s been a lot of attention to detail – you can change things like the keylock and even pre-set your altitude for maximum accuracy. You’re also able to pre-set your age and weight so the app can give you more accurate details on calories burned and the like. The perfect exercise companion and one of the best free Ovi apps around.
