The latest version has not only been streamlined to ensure that it starts up faster, but YouTube says that playback should happen more rapidly as well, with a smooth experience of watching online video on your Nokia.
The search function now also auto-completes while, as with the iPhone YouTube app, there’s also now support for your YouTube account. The main boon of this, of course, is the ability to access your favourite videos on your mobile as well as save videos you stumble across and send them on. And of course, you’ll then be able to also access those favourites on your PC or other devices.
As you’d expect from a YouTube app, there’s also easy access to the top rated, most viewed and most recent videos, too. It’s clear that the YouTube guys have worked hard to bring the best experience they can to Nokia handsets – and it’s worked. Not only is this app pretty well-stocked, but it works quickly and has a very smooth look and feel.
