Instant messaging app
This is a rarity among Nokia Ovi apps – a beta version. That means that work on the service isn’t quite finished. And they’re right – we couldn’t get it to work properly the first time we used it, with our sign in details steadfastly refused.
Essentially this app is a version of the instant messaging section of Facebook (that isn’t available in the actual Facebook app). By the way, the guys behind the app recommend you download the app over Wi-Fi because “this item may require a one-time download of components as large as 13 MB.” Why this might be is confusing – the apps certainly isn’t that size, but it raises a significant point; unless you’re on an all-you-can-eat data tariff, you’ll find your quota quickly being eaten away – chat apps are notorious for this. Still, if you love Facebook Chat, this is definitely the app for you.
