We love talking about the weather in good old Blighty, and Weather Pro provides incredibly accurate local forecasts
Weather Pro Review
by on July 4, 2010
While Apple’s own free Weather app is decent enough to give you a general idea of what the weather is going to be like in a particular region or city on a specific day, if you have a need for more accurate and far more localised weather forecasting, then MeteoGroup’s £2.39 forecasting app is a must.
The app locates your nearest forecasting centre, using your iPhones GPS, and provides you with incredibly detailed three-hourly reports.
So you will at least have a good idea of whether or not you need to pack your coat and brolly in your bag in the morning, despite the British summertime sun tricking you into thinking it will be a rain-free day again!
Weather Pro will also give you details on wind speeds and humidity, so it is a boon for golfers, sailing fans and any outdoor enthusiasts that really need to know that info when planning their days of fun.
Weather Pro also provides animated weather radars for the UK, USA, The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Scandinavia, Spain and Switzerland as well as satellite pictures for Europe, America, Africa and Asia.
Up to ten images can be downloaded and animated with full zoom and pan functionality.
