You’re unlikely to need it every day, or every week for that matter. But for the convenience GloveBox delivers, it’s 69p well spent.

There’s a lot you need to remember when you’re running a car. Much of it, though, is information you’ll only need very occasionally. When’s the MOT due? What’s the radio code? And what’s your breakdown cover policy number?
GloveBox stores all these details – and many more besides – so that you’ve no need to go rooting through your paperwork when you need to find them. While it crashed on us a few times, it’s elegant and simple to use, and syncs information between multiple iOS devices, either letting you log in using its own system, or your Facebook account. It’ll also remind you when things like your insurance are due for renewal.
OK, so GloveBox may be the solution to a problem you didn’t know you had: your insurance company will remind you when your policy’s due for renewal, as will the DVLA when your tax disc is running out. But there’s value in having all the details in one place, so while you’ll rarely use this app once you’ve set it up, its 69p price tag is worth it for the times when you do need certain bits of information quickly.
A Universal version with a number of additional features is imminent at the time of writing.
