This app lets you take truly unique photos and is definitely worth a look if you fancy creating beautiful alternative images.
Have you ever seen shots of cities taken at night with headlights streaming across the landscape? These were done by setting a long shutter speed on a camera – something that can’t be done on an iPhone, unless you own Magic Shutter.
With it, you have a few options available: you can alter the type of exposure you wish to work with and the length of time you want the shutter to remain open, from one second to infinity. The latter is the default setting, and you manually stop the shot by tapping on the record button again.
You’ll get much better results it you fit a tripod to your device, though you can still create very impressive works of art without one, which you can then share from the app over email or Facebook. You have more features on the iPhone (such as locking the focus), but the iPod touch also yields very good results.
