Suddenly got the urge to make some quick and dirty stop-motion animation? Grab yourself GIF SHOP and snap some frames with your iPhone camera (with a clever onion skin overlay that enables you to line up each frame with the previous one), and it’ll stitch them together as an animated .gif that you can post online or send to people via email or MMS.
That’s basically it – you can adjust the speed of your animation and set it to either loop or run back and forth, and you can choose between two output resolutions, but that’s about as sophisticated as it gets. It’s simple, unfussy and it works.
