Although Anytune lacks the elegance and immediacy of Capo, it makes up for it with a strong and flexible feature set.
Anytune Pro HQ – Music Practice Perfected Review

What Anytune actually does isn’t particularly new. You load a song and can change its speed and pitch, making it easier to learn and suit your vocal and playing range. Songs can have custom-named ‘audiomarks’ assigned and sections can be looped, enabling you to master tricky solos and figure out chords. This is rather like Apple Design Award winner Capo, but whereas that app further stripped back an already spartan OS X product, Anytune is all about control. You’re not restricted to set playback speeds, and can instead drag a slider as you see fit. EQ can be messed around with, to focus on specific frequencies within a song. There’s a play-along ‘LiveMix’ feature, which enables you to mix in a connected instrument during playback. And you can email your settings to someone, which is handy if you’re both learning a particular song.
Beyond the initially baffling and slightly fiddly interface (which isn’t significantly friendlier on the iPad), Anytune also confuses matters with three different versions of the app. The free one has more basic controls and limits audiomarks to five, and Pro removes higher quality audio, LiveMix and EQ. However, IAP enables you to upgrade without financial penalty, and so start with the free version, see if you can deal with the interface, and go from there.
