A potentially handy app, currently held back by some stability problems.
AirDisk Pro is designed to let you easily transfer files to and from your iOS device, using a range of methods. You can connect to it using FTP from a PC or Mac, or using a web browser you can send files to it using USB File Sharing in iTunes. You can also transfer files directly between iOS devices using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
AirDisk Pro lets you organise the files stored in it using folders, and you can rename them, view some file types and even edit some text file formats.
It all sounds good, but the app is buggy. It crashed every time we connected to it using Finder on a Mac, though it was fine with other FTP clients, and with Windows Explorer on a PC.
Transferring a file over Bluetooth also failed to ever stop syncing, even though the file had already transferred. It has the potential to be useful and fast, but it needs polish.
