Apple's personable take on Google Latitude impresses by keeping things simple.
It’s a case of catch-up for Apple, having aped Android’s Google Latitude and slapped on a lick of paint. Send requests to friends to track them constantly (creepy) or – unlike Latitude – only for a set time.
You can’t check-in to places, but you can turn off tracking at a tap. Just keep an eye on data allowance and battery levels when you’re out and about.
