A bit of a solution in search of a problem, but it’s done nicely enough, and it’s free. Give it a whirl and see if it suits!
A social network for only two people? Ridiculous! And if those two people are in a relationship? Vomit!
Except, once you think about it, it starts to make sense. Cupple lets you send messages and pictures to each other, announced with a Push Notification, but it also lets you share locations, marked as ‘Thinking of you’, ‘Somewhere we’ve been’ and ‘A place we should go’. (Annoyingly, it only lets you search for locations to tag locally, though, so you can’t tag places you want to go on a weekend away, say.)
There’s little here you couldn’t do with an app such as iMessage, but you might like keeping fun couple stuff separate from exhortations to pick up milk. We suspect some couples would wish there was the option to passcode-protect Cupple. (Ahem…)
It’s free, so there’s no reason not to try it and see if it works for you and your partner – if nothing else, it keeps the relationship banalities and lovey-dovey stuff off Twitter!
