Final Freeway 2R
Retro racing with its pedal stuck fast to the metal, and more to it than rose-tinted OutRun nostalgia.
Final Freeway 2R Review

Final Freeway 2R wants to be venerable arcade racer OutRun so much, it hurts: blue skies, chunky graphics and simple foot-to-the-floor racing action, with an assortment of undulating courses.
It’s just missing the music (although it does pack its own splendidly cheesy tunes). OutRun hasn’t aged well, but FF2R feels more up-to-date – fabulously nippy with lovely tilty steering that isn’t essential if you don’t want to use it, plus racing rivals to bump up the competitiveness.
