A decent serving of quickfire puzzle action, but it ain't no WarioWare.
In attempting to ape the brilliance of Nintendo’s WarioWare, Noty & Moky’s developers have come up with a fun and diverting game, but one with inadequacies.
If you’re unfamiliar with the WarioWare formula, the game comprises a series of very short, sharp puzzles that flash up on the screen with little guidance on how to complete them, but each with a very simple solution.
For example, Noty and Moky might have to sweep up a load of leaves, blow out the candles on a cake, inflate balloons, or steal food from the other. All this is achieved by swiping, pinching, tipping, tilting, shaking and even blowing into your device.
But while WarioWare’s puzzles’ solutions were logical, here it’s not always clear what to do. There’s only one play mode, so replay value is limited, too. It’s a nice attempt at a tricky formula, though.
