Firemint’s game is one of the biggest gaming hits on the iPhone to date
Flight Control Review

Developer FireMint’s Flight Control is an almost perfect iPhone game. It is very simple. Very easy to learn. And very, very addictive.
All you have to do it to try to land airplanes by dragging your finger across the screen and ensuring they have the right landing path and don’t crash. You have to direct four types of planes to safety: a blue helicopter that you need to direct to the helicopter pad, a small yellow plane that you need to direct to the yellow landing strip and two pink planes that you land on the pink landing strip.
Sounds easy? It is, at first, but then it becomes harder and harder the more planes you have on screen at any one time to land. Which is also where it becomes lots of fun. The aircraft all have slightly different speeds and you also have to ensure they don’t crash into one another on the way down, which is a lot harder than it sounds.
You can listen to your own tunes on your iPhone as you merrily land (or crash) the many planes on the screen. The game is strangely relaxing, and a superb way to lose yourself on that boring hour-long commute each morning.
