Excellently polished shooting with a fine pedigree.

Seven fifty? Crivens. Taito’s tried this price recently with the execrable RayStorm, but thankfully DariusBurst feels much more worthy of all that money.
It’s a total and utter update of a classic 80s shooter, packing loads of piscine spaceships to blast, gloriously 3D scenery, plenty of power-ups, fairly decent controls, and loads of levels.
It’s doesn’t feel quite as refined as, say, Espgaluda 2 HD, but it’s a hell of a lot shinier, with some fantastic end-of-level bosses just begging to have the titular burst shot unleashed upon them.
Expensive, yes, but just about worth the price tag.
