Finally, a TV guide for the iPhone that lets you plan your gogglebox viewing in no time at all
by on October 13, 2010
The latest update of the FindMeTV iPhone app represents, without a doubt, the best and easiest to use TV guide on Apple’s mobile. Previously, we had been using the Radio Times app to plan our gogglebox viewing, purely out of habit more than anything else. No more.
The interface on FindMeTV is superb. You will soon be zipping around the TV guide grid to find out what is on which channel and when. The search function is equally as good, which can be filtered by channel, day, time and genre.
When you’ve found the show you want to watch, FindMeTV also offers all of the necessary information you require along with recommendations for similar shows that you might like to watch. A little bit like the Genius feature on Apple’s iTunes.
And if you are a traditionalist who likes to watch TV programmes as and when the scheduler wants you to watch them, you can set the app to flash up a reminder five minutes before your show is about to start. Sky customers also get the option of Remote Record.
