A superb and comprehensive free guide to Britain’s heritage sites
National Trust Review

The new National Trust iPhone app is a superb (and free) guide to Britain’s thousands of heritage sites. It is a must-get app for those that like to get out at weekends and discover new and interesting bits of the UK.
The most obvious way to use the app is to use the iPhone’s GPS function, which will immediately list all the local National Trust sites within 10, 20, 30 or 40 miles from your location. It is a fascinating way to find out of the ordinary places to visit with the family, many of which you might well never have even been aware were in your locality.
The information provided by the app on the sites is brief and to the point, giving you all the bare essentials to help you decide and plan where to visit – including opening times, admission prices, facilities for disabled access, cafes and so on.
Plus it gives you all the relevant phone numbers and lets you link immediately to Google Maps to give you directions. Everything you need to spice up those summer weekend jaunts to the seaside or out into the glorious British countryside, really!
