Poorly implemented touch controls sap some of the fun from this otherwise delightfully bizarre RPG romp.
Cthulhu Saves The World Review

Hearkening back to classic RPGs of the 16-bit era, Cthulhu Saves The World is a hilarious, off-the-wall spin on classic 2D dungeon crawling adventure packed with sharp, witty dialogue and inventive foes to face off against.
The pixel-heavy art style and blippy tunes set a great retro vibe for Cthulhu’s goofy quest to become a hero so he can regain his dark powers and destroy the world. Turn-based battles have your small party pummeling away at adversaries with crazy abilities.
All of this makes for a charming experience, but frustrating touch controls hamper exploration, cutting out a big bite of fun from this zany adventure. With a proper virtual D-pad, we’d be in old-school heaven.
