Beautiful photography and a few handy features make this a great ambient app for your iPad.
Here are some things that are awesome: the International Space Station; time-lapse photography of the Earth; the iPad; fajitas.
Earthlapse combines three of the four things, letting you view time-lapse videos from the ISS on your iPad. Brilliantly, you can zip forward or backwards through them by swiping your finger (although this doesn’t affect the video’s speed permanently, but feels like it should).
You can also display the weather and time on the screen, so it makes for a great screensaver-type app.
We’d like a few more video choices, but it’s already a whopping 522MB, so maybe it’s best not to.
