Air Guitar HD
Now, strangely enough, you can actually play guitar on this thing

The iPad’s Air Guitar app gives new meaning to the words… well, Air Guitar. Utilising the tablet’s multi-touch screen, it allows downloaders to actually play the first couple of frets on the board.
You need to already be able to play a little to make use of this free app, but anyone can bang out a few A and G chords and that’s enough to recreate most of the Oasis discography on the iPad.
Simply hold the device like you would a regular guitar, well as much as one can when clutching a round flat piece of metal plastic and glass, and start strumming your chords.
Handily for lefties, the guitar has a flip mode. Fingering the chords can be a little tricky and the strumming pattern doesn’t always obey. It’s also difficult to get used to touching the strings instead of picking them when playing single notes.
We’d like to see slides and hammer-on functionality built-in too, and also the ability to move further up and down the fretboard, but this is a fun free app that helps the iPad show off a little bit.
