There are a number of translation applications on the BlackBerry App World at the moment but this is one of the best free versions out there.
Not pretending to do anything over the top or complex, you simply enter in the phrase and wait for the scan to come back – and it’s usually pretty accurate.
What’s more, you can also ask it to query a number of sources, from Google Translate to FreeTranslation to Bing.
And it doesn’t have to stop at translation – there’s also a dictionary option to the application to help you find out what words mean as well as translating them.
There are literally loads of languages to translate into, meaning you’re never going to be caught short with this application.
The only thing we would criticise is the fact it uses the server to find the translation – these data roaming charges are costly abroad.
But other than that it’s a great application and one you should definitely consider ahead of your summer hols.
