Like a poor version of actually chatting to friends
The BlackBerry range has been built on being able to chat to your friends, and that’s here again with Chat for Facebook.
Basically stripping out all the other functionality from a Facebook app, you simply log in, see who’s online and then click to annoy them.
The interface is really low-res, with a very large-fonted rip off of the main Facebook log in pulling you in.
After that, it’s a long old connection and you get a list of buddies, and a sideways scroll will take you to any conversations that pop up.
Pressing underneath the name in the conversation will open up a new text entry area – annoying, as you can’t see what’s been said.
A poor attempt at Facebook Chat – sure, it works and you can have multiple chats going on, but it looks so rubbish that you’ll be annoyed you paid for it when there are better offerings out there.
