Well, let’s keep this simple with a couple of questions. Are you a BlackBerry owner? Do you use Facebook a lot? Get the Facebook app.
It’s an easy-to-use app: you open on your news feed, with a box at the top for adding an instant status update, a button for using Facebook Places and a button for uploading a picture. You can scroll down to see more of your news feed, or scroll right to the top to access your notifications and a Facebook menu that offers access to your Profile, Messages, Friends and more.
When you set up the app, you can choose to have it connect with your BlackBerry Calendar, Messages and Contacts apps, so that it’s all integrated better into general use of your phone.
It all adds up to make the Facebook app a far better way to access the social network than using the mobile site. It also helps to make you BlackBerry more Facebook-friendly overall. As is usually the case with this kind of app, there’s a lot of scrolling involved on Bold or Curve phones, but it’s still the best way to use Facebook around.
