A detailed, if slightly expensive converter application that offers access to a wealth of different currencies
These sorts of applications are rife on the BlackBerry Application World – tools that help you when travelling are invaluable to many.
Currency Converter Deluxe works by simply asking you which currencies you’d like to see compared and you can have far more than the normal two if you want.
However, there’s one big down side – you can’t actually see things in anything other than whole numbers, so if you’re looking for the idiosyncrasies of modern currency, then this one isn’t for you.
It’s a little on the expensive side as well – £3.55 for something that only performs one task, and a little woolly at that – so we’d imagine you’d like to look further afield for something a little cheaper or more in depth.
However, it does allow real-time updates for the currency you’re using, so at least you know the amount you’re converting is up to date – although given the rounding up it doesn’t really make that much difference.
One to use if you’re desperate, but there are surely better offerings on the web and App World already.
