Many of you out there will be thinking that Bloomberg is only good for financial information. You’d be wrong. There is an excellent exclusive news section, which is quick to populate and lets you keep on track of what’s happening in the world of suit-y people.
We’re not saying there aren’t other financial elements on here to keep Bloomberg close to its roots: you get a stock watcher (with graphs and detailed breakdowns), a list of news on markets and a stock finder application too so you can check out your targets.
The articles used are very thoroughly researched on this free application, making it worth having around for when you want to make yourself look like you’re a big stock trader down the pub.
Overall, a nice enough application if this is what you’re after day-to-day and intend to use all the features but one that will probably alienate a good portion of the ‘new BlackBerry’ user crowd.
