The classic game of luck and/or strategy
Battles UNLIMITED Review

Battleships is a great way to kill a few minutes, affording a sense of great satisfaction at having successfully outfoxed your opponent when you win.
This free version for BlackBerry handsets maintains all of the fun while providing a simple and effective way to play against the computer, another player on the same handset, or someone else online.
All three work well. There’s no problem with secrecy when playing against someone on one phone, since you take it in turns to place your ships (or let the game do it automatically) and then it you don’t need to see the placement again — you just see the two ‘attack’ screens side-by-side.
Starting a game online could be a bit tricky, resulting in a fair few disconnections before we got a game working. You don’t get to choose your ship placement online, which speeds up starting a game, but the computer has a tendency to put your cruisers in poor positions, so it can be annoying. Actually playing a game online worked fine, though, and you’ll soon be triumphing over lesser admirals the world over.
If this had a small cost, we’d still recommend it, but for free it’s downright excellent.
