Stealing the best of YouTube on your BlackBerry and offering it up in a tidy package
Sometimes the best way to create a decent application is to offer something completely different and unique, changing the way we think about how we use our mobile.
On the other hand, you can just look at existing content offered by YouTube and make a portal to access it from an application – take a guess what the Xenozu app is all about.
Basically, it’s a very budget-looking application that gives you access to the mobile version of YouTube, and not much more.
On the plus side, you get listed search history, featured, most viewed and top rated videos, making it easy to find new movies.
But the icons are tiny, the quality awful even over Wi-Fi and the videos are sized incorrectly as well.
While it’s annoying there’s no official application, this isn’t the option that’s going to fill the gaping hole for the BlackBerry platform.
