Music everywhere at the click of a button
The music download world is a tricky place to prosper compared to the might of iTunes, but 7Digital has managed to do just that.
It’s one of the foremost places to get hold of DRM free music, and the BlackBerry application offers some pretty nifty music playback features too.
Scrolling left from the homescreen will open up the music store, which gives a dizzying list of songs and albums and charts and all manner of other methods of finding music.
Anything you buy here (and fairly cheaply too at around 50p a track) can also be downloaded by logging into your account on your PC too.
If we were to grumble, we’d say the scroll left, scroll right method of navigation isn’t responsive enough – and the music player will start and stop if you press the mute key, which on many BlackBerrys is also the standby button as well.
But overall a great way to get tunes on the go, making your BlackBerry into a much more functional media device.
